September 08th, 2019: The ASEAN Committee in Ottawa (ACO), which includes Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam, hosted the ASEAN Friendship Day 2019 at the Lake Leamy Park in Quebec, Canada. The event has the participation of Ambassadors and High Commissioners, family members of officials and staff of ASEAN embassies, representatives from the Global Affairs Canada and Canadian friends.
With an aim to strengthening camaraderie among ASEAN diplomatic missions and fostering friendship with Canadian friends, ASEAN families and guests all together participated in sport activities and tried ASEAN traditional cuisine.
