Ambassador Nguyen Duc Hoa visits Saskatchewan

From June 18th to 22nd 2019, Ambassador of Viet Nam to Canada, Nguyen Duc Hoa paid a working visit to the cities of Regina and Saskatoon at the invitation of the leaders of Saskatchewan. Ambassador Nguyen Duc Hoa had meetings with Honourable Scott Moe, Premier of Saskatchewan and Honourable Mark Docherty, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, leaders of the Ministries of Advanced Education, Agriculture, and Trade and Export Development; visited several universities and colleges in Regina and Saskatoon. The meetings focused on encouraging exchange of visits; strengthening relations in terms of trade, investment, agriculture cooperation, education, technology, vocational training, energy, fighting climate change, environment protection. The two sides agreed to continue to facilitate linkages between businesses, universities, colleges, and student exchange.

During the time in Saskatchewan, the Ambassador met with representatives from the Vietnamese Canadian community and students in Regina and Saskatoon.
